A scrollWelcome to the home page for the newly restructured DMH Training Institute!  The Training Institute provides high-quality learning opportunities to a broad array of professionals, consumers and stakeholders throughout the District.
 
The Institute serves as the central coordinating body for accomplishing all workforce development-related objectives described in the Dixon Report and the Dixon Exit Criteria, local and federal accountability and compliance laws. It will also serve as the primary liaison for coordinating and publicizing training events within the Department, as well as creating standard instruments and procedures for DMH training activities.

The DMH Training Institute Fall 2009 Calendar has arrived! September and October events are currently available, and other Fall events will be posted soon. Please check the calendar below for frequent updates and newly added events.

Please note the important changes to our policies and procedures below.    

  • The DMH Training Institute has moved exclusively to a web-based registration format, and will no longer accept registration forms sent electronically, by fax or mail. Please contact us at dmh.training@dc.gov or at (202) 671-0343 if you have difficulties accessing this system or would like additional assistance.
  • The DMH Training Institute and Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital Division of Psychology have been approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education credits in psychology.
