Where Literacy Begins: Session IV is part of a four session series. You must attend all 4 sessions to receive 8 professional learning units/clock hours.

This series will introduce tools to help very young children (from birth to age 3) learn and grow. Participants will learn developmentally appropriate techniques that help children reach developmental milestones using children’s literature and activities.

Providers

DBH contracts with community based providers to provide mental health services and supports. You can contact a provider of your choice directly or call the Access Helpline for assistance. DBH certifies each provider to ensure conformity to federal and District regulations and monitors quality of care.

It’s important for us all to learn to recognize the symptoms of depression so we can get help for ourselves or for others when it’s needed.
