Today the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities announced that it would be contributing $200,000 to the H Street Playhouse, which will soon be moving its location to historic Anacostia.

The H Street Playhouse, whose lease at 1365 H Street, NE, expires February 1, 2013 will relocate to 2020 Shannon Place, SE. Help for Stressful Economic Times

Depression and anxiety are normal reactions to abnormal times or stress. With increased concerns about losing jobs, homes and savings, more people are showing signs of psychological distress. It’s important for us all to learn to recognize the symptoms of depression so we can get help for ourselves or for others when it’s needed.
