27th Annual Mayor's Arts Awards to Honor Washingtonians Who've Made Contributions to the Arts

On Thursday, September 13, the DC Commission on the Arts (DCCAH) and Humanities will host the 27th Annual Mayor’s Arts Awards at the Historic Lincoln Theatre. This year, Mayor Vincent C. Gray, along with the DCCAH will honor four Washingtonians that have made significant contributions to the arts in Washington, DC. The honorees are former DC Mayor, Anthony A. Williams; writer, director and producer, George Stevens, Jr.; Melvin Deale, Executive Director of the African Heritage Dancers and Drummers; and lawyer, Paul C.

DMH certifies each provider to ensure conformity to federal and District regulations and monitors quality of care.
