March 3, 2014 Ice and Snow Storm Continues to Hinder Trash, Recycling Collections

(Washington, DC)  The Department of Public Works announced today that its trash and recycling collection crews are picking up solid waste where possible.  The effect of the March 3 ice/snowstorm is still being felt, especially in the alleys where more than 70 percent of collections are made.
