DPW REMINDS RESIDENTS THAT THUR. TRASH/RECYCLING COLLECTIONS WILL BE MADE FRI. BECAUSE OF THE MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. HOLIDAY

On Friday, January 24, the Department of Public Works is collecting Thursday’s trash and recyclables as road conditions permit.  As a result of the snow storm, some untreated alleys may not be passable with a large truck. DPW is requesting that residents with alley collections whose trash and/or recyclables are not collected pull their containers back onto their properties.  Collections will be made on the next regularly scheduled service day.

Help for Stressful Economic Times

Depression and anxiety are normal reactions to abnormal times or stress. With increased concerns about losing jobs, homes and savings, more people are showing signs of psychological distress. It’s important for us all to learn to recognize the symptoms of depression so we can get help for ourselves or for others when it’s needed.
