Bulletin ID: No. 30 - Billing and Authorization Accountability Points to Note

1. Providers must bill for the service provided (no Rehab Day billed as Community Support –Group).
2. Care Coordination service authorization processes must be followed. Specifically, Rehab Day requires medical necessity and an authorization.
3. Service authorization periods must not be manipulated to secure additional units not specifically authorized by Care Coordination.
