STAFF SHORTAGES CURTAIL DPW TRASH/RECYCLING COLLECTIONS DEC. 10

(Washington, DC)  The Department of Public Works stated that trash and recycling collections were limited today because of staff shortages.  Residents of once-a-week collection neighborhoods should retain their trash and recycling until next Tuesday.  Residents of twice-a-week collection neighborhoods will have their trash collected on Friday and their recycling also will be collected if Friday is their regular collection day.  Where recyclables are collected on Tuesday, residents should retain their recyclables until next Tuesday.  DPW apologizes for the inconvenie
